Phoenix Zoo Day

Today we took a trip to the Phoenix Zoo with extra friends.  Of course, we had Connor and Scott brought his friend Jasmine.  Seeing cousin Stephanie there was an added bonus and she was so nice to share the perks of her membership by taking us on the train ride.  After cooling off in Ukula Caverns, we headed over to the train and ate our lunch as we enjoyed looking at the giraffes, elephants, birds of every kind, and the tiger while we relaxed on the train.
Our Katie, who is gifted at being two,was throwing fits left and right until Connor took her down the slide at the splash playground.  She was smiling from ear to ear after that.  Then Lizzie took her turn being grumpy.  It happens!  The little ones tire out and get grumpy. Trecking around the Phoenix Zoo is exhausting in 100+ degree weather for adults, I can only imagine how difficult it was for the little ones.  I felt really horrible when I ran over Katie with the stroller!  Mother of the Year right here!!!
Anyway, it was a spectacular summer day here in Arizona with all my children.  I wonder what we will do tomorrow?  Any suggestions?
